Crow's Eye Productions are a Lincolnshire-based film company, with access to a large talent-pool, including writers, actors and musicians. We work in close collaboration with historians and costumiers specialising in period costume. Our high production values, and a small, dedicated, talented production team, mean that we produce contextually accurate results that are visually stunning in a time- and cost-effective manner.

Led by Nick Loven, Crow's Eye Productions draws on talent from freelance film-maker Chris Roberts and Orchard House Wardrobe costumier Pauline Loven. Crow’s Eye production also works closely with the community group, WAG Screen.

Nick Loven - Director

Nick is an independent film-maker with 10 years’ experience in historical portrayals, instructional films, advertising and wildlife film and photography. Nick has worked with the BBC Natural History unit (including Springwatch). Nick is multi-skilled, directing, photographing and editing interchangeably, and sometimes taking on all three roles in one production.

Chris Roberts - Freelance film-maker

An award-winning film-maker with over 20 years of experience in film-making, 15 years directing and 10 years in sound and lighting, in addition to work in make-up and prosthetics, Chris' versatile expertise ensures our productions are kept on budget and on time.

Pauline Loven - Orchard House Wardrobe

A published historian and illustrator with 30 years of experience in period costume-making and 10 years of experience in design and making of costumes for film, Pauline's attention to detail and historical accuracy means that the costumes of Orchard House Wardrobe are an invaluable addition to Crow's Eye Productions.

WAG Screen

Collaboration with WAG Screen, a community film-making group with specialist interest in history and archaeology, has enabled Crow's Eye Productions to develop an extensive range of contacts including local talent and historical knowledge as well as a wide location portfolio.
